FAQS

  • What is a patina?

Patina is a colored chemical [acid] that is put on the polished bronze metal to give the piece it's final coloration.
  • What is meant by the lost wax process?

There are actually 29 steps to completion of a finished piece. The lost wax process takes the original sculpture from casting to final. This website shows 14 main steps but does not note all the steps in between. http://www.baerbronze.com/process.html and http://www.americanbronze.com/process.html This process makes each piece individual as they are individually made.
  • How did you choose your edition size?

I wanted to make it bigger than 12 and smaller than 50. I thought of 26 when I started then decided to do some edition sizes 36.
  • Will you take payments?

Yes, I set up a payment schedule for 10-12 months. I do not charge interest. Once the piece is paid for the customer receives their piece.
  • Do we take credit cards?

Yes, but only in United States.
