Miniature moose skull & antlers

Frank was commissioned to create a special miniature replica of a moose antler, inspired by a moose taken by the client’s wife Janice. The client requested Frank to sculpt the antler of Janice moose to go on Frank moose sculpture, Brute II. The original antler configuration is exceptionally distinctive ly unusual, with one side featuring points that curl inward—an uncommon and striking natural variation.

Rather than simply reproducing only one original completely new antler that captures the spirit and individuality of the moose while refining it into a cohesive artistic form, Frank was given permission to use it for another miniature like his sold out piece “Snag River Moose Kill”.  The result is “Moose for Janice,” a piece that blends personal meaning with sculptural craftsmanship. This antler has also been added to our miniature horn and antler series as a limited edition of 150.

The pice is palm size 7″ x 5″ x2″.
